Angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels, is important for physiological (e.g. wound healing) and pathological (e.g. tumor growth) processes.

We are interested in inhibiting angiogenesis mainly in the tumor context. By using and characterizing novel inhibitors of natural origin, we gain insight into basic cell biological questions, and try to establish innovative classes of potential therapeutics.
